What They Needed

MATPRA’s previous website had become outdated—both visually and functionally. The design did little to reflect the vibrancy of the organization or its destinations, and its internal structure made content management and promotion unnecessarily difficult.

  • Key challenges included:
  • Outdated design and poor mobile responsiveness, impacting engagement
  • Limited tools for content editors and no streamlined way to publish updates across channels
  • Inadequate support for social sharing and email marketing
  • Lack of robust features for events, news, and media interaction

MATPRA needed more than a facelift. They needed a high-performing, modern website that could help destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and journalists connect, collaborate, and showcase travel in the Mid-Atlantic.

What We Delivered

DatAchieve Digital redesigned the MATPRA website from the ground up—developing a fast, mobile-friendly, and visually inviting platform that’s as informative as it is easy to use. Built on the open-source WordPress CMS, the new site includes:

  • A customized, fully responsive design that adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Streamlined navigation and updated architecture that makes it easy to find destinations, events, and stories
  • Integrated blog, news, and event tools to highlight current happenings and seasonal campaigns
  • One-click social publishing tools to push updates directly to Facebook, Twitter, and mailing lists
  • Email subscription integration and tools for publishing HTML-formatted digests
  • Dynamic media marketplace features to support annual events and journalist outreach
  • Detailed analytics and SEO optimization to improve visibility and measure results
  • Training, support, and ongoing site care, including WordPress updates, security monitoring, and content editing guidance

With improved performance, better editorial control, and the flexibility to evolve over time, MATPRA.org is now positioned to support the organization’s mission—and its members—for years to come.
