What They Needed

The Maryland Grape Growers Association had a clear mission but lacked a digital platform that supported its goals. Their original website featured a dated design, limited functionality, and no mobile-friendly experience—making it difficult for visitors, members, and potential partners to access information or connect with the organization.

The site didn’t reflect the professionalism of Maryland’s growing grape and wine industry and failed to provide essential tools for member engagement, communication, and event promotion. Information was static, updates required technical help, and the lack of integration with social media or email marketing meant missed opportunities for outreach and advocacy.

MGGA needed a modern website that could:

  • Serve as a professional public face for the association

  • Make it easy for members to access and share information

  • Offer tools for promoting events, industry news, and legislative updates

  • Support both consumer awareness and member networking

  • Empower staff to manage content without relying on outside help

  • Present a seamless experience across all devices

They wanted a solution that would help them grow—not just grapes, but a stronger, more connected community.
